This course offer the basics of motorcycling and rider safety skills at a pace that is appropriate for new riders, or riders returning to motorcycling. Classroom sessions cover important topics for novice riders and information to help you pass the Washington motorcycle permit Knowledge test. Range exercises include starting, stopping, shifting, riding in a straight line, cornering, swerving, and quick stops.
Once you have passed the permit Knowledge and Skills tests and are a confident rider, you are ready for an endorsement qualifying course. You must have a valid Washington motorcycle permit to take the endorsement course.
Motorcycle endorsement qualifying courses are for riders that have a current Washington motorcycle permit and are ready to earn their full motorcycle endorsement. ‘s endorsement qualifying classroom session covers advanced street riding skills, improving your perception of hazards and hazardous situations, allowing you to self-evaluate your level of risk taking.
