The Washington Permit knowledge test is comprised of 50 multiple choice questions on rules of the road and motorcycle safety.

Both the permit and endorsement Knowledge tests are based on a DOL motorcycle operator manual which you will want to read and study before taking the test.

Riders attending skills test only sessions must provide their own motorcycle or scooter.

permit and endorsement courses include a knowledge and a skills test and the use of a training motorcycle.  If you would like to use one of our motorcycles, please enroll in a safety course.
