’s intermediate motorcycle permit qualifying courses are designed for riders who have current motorcycle experience and have ridden on or off road consistently within the last year. To register for a permit qualifying eight hour course you must already possess the basic skills and ability to operate a motorcycle safely, including stopping, starting, shifting, low speed turning and competent braking.
It is important that you Understand the Expectations of this intermediate course. You must meet the minimum requirements outlined above to be successful. If you do not already meet the minimum requirements above you should enroll in the Beginner Permit Course or perhaps the Kickstart.
The classroom session covers important topics for intermediate riders and information to help you pass the Washington permit knowledge test. Range exercises practice shifting, weaving, cornering, swerving and quick stops.
Permit qualifying eight hour courses provide a three hour classroom session and a five hour range session designed to help you successfully pass the permit knowledge and permit skills tests included with your course, preparing you to become an educated and responsible rider.
