is a Washington DOL approved driver training school and driving skills and knowledge examiner.
Drivers education covers all of the topics covered in the Washington State Knowledge & Skills driver license test. ‘s teen drivers education curriculum is DOL approved and regularly evaluated and updated to provide you the most robust driver education program possible.
Our programs will help prepare drivers to make smart choices while driving in today’s traffic.
There are 15 drivers education classes which are two-hours.
The topics covered in our teen drivers education course are designed to help you prepare for the Washington State DOL Knowledge test.
There are a total of Six (6) behind-the-wheel sessions in our dual brake controlled cars.
This is where each student gets the chance to learn not only the controls of the car, but where they need to be on the road in order to see hazards. All students must pass a basic evaluation of their road skill in order to qualify for a certificate of completion.
Do you want to understand the rules better, the process better, and learn how to reduce the fear, cost, and stress of coaching your teen driver?
We ask parents to attend the first drivers ed class with their child; this helps our parents understand their involvement from the beginning. During the first class we share with the parents in car coaching and advising technique. We always encourage parents to come in, get to know the instructors and get an update on their child’s current challenges and success. Parents are also welcome to attend in car sessions.
To successfully complete this driver education course you must be prepared, on time and attend all parts of every class. We understand that occasionally a student must miss a class, however classes are required to be made up and no more than three (3) classes can be made up. You have 120 days to complete drivers education. Driver’s education includes all 15 classroom sessions, 6 in car lessons and one hour of drive observation.
Our drive instructors will do everything within the limits of safety to coach each student to success, however, there is no guarantee that you will be able to complete this course successfully.
Drivers Education Final Test: If you scored less than 80% on the teen drivers education test or were unable to finish in the time allowed you will need to retake the test until you pass.
Drive 6: If by your 6th drive you are still struggling behind the wheel you may need additional lessons. By the 6th drive you don’t need to be so good you would pass your Skills test, rather you need to have the basics covered. We have course packages that include extra hours of behind the wheel practice with an instructor or you can add them to your package later. We have private in-car training available to fill most needs; just contact the office for more information.
Teamwork is the fuel that allows the individual to unlock their full potential.
