There are two different paths to earning your drivers license based on your age.

To take a the drivers skills test you must have one of these:

  • Washington ID
  • Pre-applied for a permit
  • Washington instruction permit

You will also need some Identification that includes a photo

  • Photo instruction permit
  • Expired license
  • Out of state license
  • Foreign license
  • Passport
  • School ID
