Drivers Ed for Camano Island

WMST teaches teen and adult drivers from Camano Island, with the classroom done online at your own pace, behind-the-wheel drives on the island roads and SR-532, and DOL testing south in Everett.

WMST for Camano Island

Island roads, then the bridge and the freeway.

Camano Island connects to the mainland at Stanwood by the SR-532 bridge, and that shapes the learning. The island roads are quiet, winding, and rural, ideal for a new driver building the basics, while SR-532 and the run to I-5 add the speed, merging, and traffic that finish the job.

WMST runs the classroom online at your own pace, the practical choice for island families, and behind-the-wheel drives can start on the Camano roads your teen already travels. One certified instructor stays with them throughout.

DOL testing runs at our Everett Express office, south down I-5, and WMST is a DOL-approved examiner. The program is one package, from $549.

Driving on Camano

E and N Camano Drive, and SR-532.

New drivers start on the calm island roads off East and North Camano Drive, where low speeds, curves, and light traffic let the fundamentals settle. These rural roads teach speed control and reading a road without curbs and lights to lean on.

The SR-532 corridor and the bridge to Stanwood bring the busier driving and the lane discipline a highway demands, then the I-5 ramps give merging practice. Before the test we drill the parking maneuvers and a full test-style route in Everett.
