Drivers Ed in Smokey Point

WMST teaches teen and adult drivers around Smokey Point, between Arlington and Marysville, with the classroom online or in person, drives on Smokey Point Boulevard and the I-5 ramps, and DOL testing south in Everett.

WMST for Smokey Point

A busy retail corridor is a real classroom.

Smokey Point straddles the line between Arlington and Marysville off I-5 exit 206, and it is busy, with the shopping centers, the boulevard, and the freeway ramps all stacked together. That sounds like a hard place to learn, but it is actually a head start. A new driver here gets used to traffic, driveways, and merging early.

WMST runs the classroom online or in person, and behind-the-wheel drives can start on the Smokey Point roads your teen already travels. The same certified instructor stays with them throughout.

DOL testing runs at our Everett Express office, a short drive south, and WMST is a DOL-approved examiner. The program is one package, from $549.

Driving around Smokey Point

Smokey Point Boulevard, 172nd, and I-5.

New drivers start on the quieter residential streets just off the boulevard, where speeds are low and there is room to learn. Then it is into the real thing: Smokey Point Boulevard and 172nd, with their timed lights, constant turn lanes, and busy shopping-center driveways that teach scanning and patience.

The I-5 ramps right there give clean merging practice, and the run south toward Everett builds confidence in moving traffic. Before the test we drill parallel parking, backing around a corner, and hill parking, then a full test-style route.

Good to know

Smokey Point families take the classroom online or in person with local drives, then test at our Everett Express office down I-5. Call 425.252.9913.
