Drivers Ed for Snohomish High School Students

WMST helps Snohomish High School students get licensed, with the DOL-approved classroom online or in person, behind-the-wheel drives on the 2nd Street, SR-9, and valley roads they know, and DOL testing a short drive west in Everett.

For Snohomish High families

River-valley roads make for strong practice.

WMST serves Snohomish High students through the DOL-approved course online or in person, with drives that start on the roads around the school. We are not a class on campus, we are the school that teaches the driving and gives the test, which a lot of Snohomish families prefer.

The driving here has real range: the historic downtown grid teaches patience, the valley roads are open and a little faster, and SR-9 brings the steady commuter traffic. Your teen keeps the same certified instructor throughout.

WMST is a DOL-approved examiner, and testing runs at our Everett Express office a short drive west. It is one package, from $549.

Around Snohomish High

2nd Street, Avenue D, and SR-9.

New drivers start on the quiet residential streets near the school and around Blackmans Lake, then move to the busier 2nd Street and Avenue D, where the timed lights and downtown traffic teach lane choice and patience. The valley roads toward Lowell add open-road speed control.

SR-9 and the US-2 approach bring the higher-speed merging and lane changes. Before the test we drill parallel parking, backing around a corner, and hill parking, then a full test-style route, on roads your Snohomish High student already drives.
