WMST serves Mountlake Terrace High students through the DOL-approved course online or at nearby Edmonds-area sites, with drives that start on the roads around the school. We are not a class on campus, we are the school that teaches the driving and gives the test.
Mountlake Terrace is compact and well connected, with I-5 on one side, Lake Ballinger on the other, and the 220th and 236th arterials between, plus the busy new light rail area downtown. Your teen keeps the same certified instructor throughout.
WMST is a DOL-approved examiner, and testing runs at our Everett Express office a drive north. It is one package, from $549.

New drivers start on the quiet residential streets near the school and Lake Ballinger, then move to 220th and 236th, the main arterials, where timed lights and turn lanes ask a new driver to plan ahead. The transit and light rail area downtown is busier and more pedestrian-heavy, good for careful scanning.
The I-5 ramps give freeway merging practice. Before the test we drill parallel parking, backing around a corner, and hill parking, then a full test-style route.
