Drivers Ed at Meadowdale High School

WMST teaches teen drivers education for Meadowdale Mavericks near the Lynnwood and Edmonds line, with classroom time on the 168th Street campus and drives through the neighborhoods between Highway 99 and the water.

For Meadowdale families

Quiet streets to start, real arterials when they are ready.

Meadowdale sits in that pocket between Lynnwood and Edmonds, off 168th, where the neighborhoods are calm and the main roads are a short drive away. It is a forgiving place to put a new driver behind the wheel, then a quick step up to the traffic that teaches the harder lessons.

WMST teaches the classroom at Meadowdale and keeps the same certified instructor with your teen from the first session to the last drive. Nobody hands your kid off mid-program to someone who has never ridden with them.

WMST is also a DOL-approved examiner, so the school that trains your teen gives the skills test. One package covers all of it, from $549, classroom, six drives, and observation.

6002 168th St SW, Lynnwood, WA 98037
Between 99 and the water

The Meadowdale routes that build a real driver.

We start on the residential streets around 60th and 168th, low speed, low pressure, where a new driver can get steering and stopping smooth. Then we bring them onto 168th and 164th toward the busier crossings, where timing and lane choice start to matter.

Highway 99 is close, and that is the proving ground for lane changes, left turns across traffic, and reading timed signals with cars moving around you. The dip toward Meadowdale Beach and the Edmonds hills adds slope control and tighter corners that the examiner likes to see handled cleanly.

By the final drives your teen has practiced the I-5 ramps near Lynnwood, parallel parking on calm side streets, and backing around a corner until it stops being a thing they dread.
