Trike and Spyder training from a specialist school.
Very few schools in Washington are DOL-approved to train and test three-wheel riders. WMST is one of them. That matters, because a trike or a Spyder asks for a different set of habits than a two-wheel motorcycle, and you want to learn them from people who teach this every season.
The course runs the classroom knowledge, the range skill-building, and the DOL endorsement skills test, all built around three-wheel handling. Bring your own machine, or call ahead to ask whether a loaner is available for your date.
What's different about 3-wheel?
Trikes and Spyder-class machines handle very differently from two-wheel motorcycles. Counter-steering doesn't apply the same way; weight transfer is different; cornering technique is closer to a sports car than a sport bike.
Our 3-wheel curriculum addresses all of that. You'll cover the specific skills the DOL endorsement skills test evaluates, on the same kind of machine you'll be riding.
