For the right candidate, WMST will provide paid training and assistance through the process to become a Licensed Driving Instructor.
Ideal candidates will:
- Be excited about becoming a licensed, professional driving instructor
- Possess a high level of positive energy
- Work well with minimal supervision
- Communicate effectively with all types of students
- Enjoy teaching
- Enjoy working with teenagers
- Be available to work when students are out of school and on weekends
- Have good problem avoidance and problem solving skills
- Have public speaking, coaching, teaching or experience working with people
- Have an acceptable driving record
- Pass the required background check
- Have 5 years of driving experience
