The MSF’s Experienced Rider Course (ERC) is a 8 hour course designed to help riders build skills and confidence on their own bikes. Riders use their own licensed and insured motorcycles through a series of guided exercises aimed at improved cornering and crash avoidance techniques.
Participants must have sufficient riding skills and experience to operate a motorcycle with basic proficiency. There is no classroom or testing in the ERC and passengers are permitted at a $15 cost. Operators must have a valid 2 wheel motorcycle permit or endorsement and the motorcycle must by in street-ready condition.
The ERC is an excellent way to learn more about you and your motorcycle in a low threat, high challenge environment. Completion of a Motorcycle Safety Foundation Rider Course may also qualify for insurance and/or select retailer discounts.
Refunds will ONLY be issued for cancellations made at least 10 days before the class. If you call to cancel less than 10 days before the class, you will forfeit your entire registration fee. If you would like to reschedule your class, there is a $25 rescheduling fee if rescheduled 10 days prior to the beginning of your class. If you are late, or do not show up for your class, you forfeit your entire registration fee.
While our staff will do as much as possible to help you learn to ride safely we can not guarantee that you will learn to ride, or that you will pass the written and riding exams that are required to successfully complete this class.
