Washington State motorcycle license wavier course.
These women's only classes are a lot of fun, but are only offered once a month, so don't hesitate to schedule for the earliest available class.
Washington Motorcycle Safety Training offers the Womens only Novice Rider Course in Everett for Snohomish county residents as well as any Washington state resident, or even non residents wishing to ride motorcycles in Washington state.WMST offers state subsidized classes only to Washington residents
This class takes 16 hours and includes both classroom and range time. In the classroom we go through several sections including controls, gear (helmets, gloves, suits, boots, etc.) and street strategies (lane positioning, swerving, hazard avoidance, etc.). During the range portion of the class you will get to put the classroom material to work. Using bikes provided by Washington Motorcycle Safety Training, you will begin by learning where the controls are, and progress through drills that teach you braking, cornering, swerving, and quick stops.
Due to the limited amount of Washington state training subsidy money available, WMST offers a non-subsidized novice course for those students who wish to avoid the long wait-times for subsidized classes.
Discounts are also available for groups and clubs reserving space in non-subsidized classes. Please contact our office for more information.
Tuition refunds are not given if you cancel less than 7 days before the start of class.
Successful course graduates receive the Washington Motorcycle Safety Program license waiver card that allows them to get a two-wheel motorcycle endorsement added to their existing driver’s license.
While our staff will do as much as possible to help you learn to ride safely we can not guarantee that you will learn to ride or that you will pass the written and riding exams that are required to successfully complete this class.
